Enough Socks

I’ve been alive for just over a quarter of a Century – and if there’s one thing I can categorically say I’ve learnt, it’s that you can never have enough socks.

Windy Day

When you get blown off your feet, and almost into the electric train track, on the windiest day in the Netherlands, your priorities in life somehow suddenly change.

Tap Water

I’ve been to tons of countries, tasting their tap water. And I can categorically say that Reykjavik’s tap water is a thousand times much better tasting that California’s.

Dog Loyalty

I wonder whether dogs live with humans because we domesticated them over millenia, or just because we have free food.

Weird Pelican

For some weird reason, there’s a large pelican that’s always at the same spot on the same kerb every day, for as long as I can remember.

Crazy Fans

I find it very difficult to understand how my housemate almost feels physical pain every time his football club misses a chance at goal.

On Mediocrity

I find that there’s nothing quite as frustrating as being a mediocre polyglot.
